The Autism Diet
Some children with High Functioning Autism can develop severe food allergies. Wheat is the most common. Shel Fish is can be very serious. The parent will restrict the child from the food they are allergic to. The child can get stressed out for the restriction of food. Their brain can over think and think that they can't eat anything. The temper tantrums can get wild. This is where the therapist steps in. Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA) can help. They are a mix of occupational therapy and regular school. The one-on-one specialist has a perfect idea of the child issues and level.

ABA Therapy Reward System
ABA therapy is a therapy that
helps autistic children develop and learn social life skills. To get the kids to
cooperate, the specialist wants there to be a reward so the child will have
something to work up to. The instructor picks four to five toys and presents it
to the child one at a time. The instructor cannot interfere with the child’s decision
by playing with the child. The specialist is only allowed to show the child how
it works. Now the instructor picks two of the four and places it right in front
of the child. The child is asked to pick which they would want to play with.
The child picks and now the child is allowed to play with it while the instructor puts the
one the child did not pick in a pile out of sight and reach. The instructor
takes the toy away from the child and puts it in a separate pile. The
instructor brings out two new toys and asks the child to pick. The child does
the same exact thing as last time. The instructor pulls out the two discarded
toys. The child is asked to pick from those two. The specialist has figured out
the child’s third and fourth favorite toys. The instructor now pulls out the
toys that the child accepted. The child
picks out their favorite toy and the instructor is now informed of the child’s
favorite toys.

My Autism Theroy
My Theroy of autism is that children are born with some sort of horomone in there brain that devolps when the child gets older. The only thing is that every child is different and devolps the hormone at different ages. I think it depends on how quickly the child is devolping at first. When your child gets tested, they have to take the test twice. As I said, it depends on the child. The child takes it once when they are six months old and then twelve months old.

Sensory Diet Therapy
By Samantha Katel
Sensory Diet is a kind of occupational therapy that increases the attention spans of children by using sensory built activities to boost self esteem and confidence.
This creates stability and better work habit. You can find specialists and schools too!The specialists do fun activities such as jumping on a trampoline, spinning around, sand play, art, rolling through a padded steam roller and playing on an exercises ball. These activities take a lot of tactile input.
People who need sensory diet therapy have trouble processing all sensory input that surrounds them. This is called Sensory Integration Disorder. This disorder makes it harder for children to move. This where social issues start. The child gets very frustrated. The child is forced to give up on social activity and athletic activities. In this situation, confidence is a must.
To know if your child has Sensory Integration Disorder is if your child often covers their eyes and ears, stays in dark rooms or corners, and finds it tirelessly hard to move.
How can I find the right specialist? Sensory Diet Therapy is not right for my child but meets all the symptoms? Read more at www.autismawarness13.blogspot.com
